Hygienist calling patient back for appointment

Your Best Line of Defense

When it comes to oral health, there’s no substitute for a good, steady brushing and flossing regimen. It’s your first line of defense against tooth decay, gum disease and other oral health problems that can cost you a lot of pain and agony (and money!) down the road.

The Professional Difference

Our dental hygienists have the training, expertise, and good old fashioned friendliness that it takes to give you a great experience while they deep clean your teeth. After all, there are some things, such as tartar, that regular brushing and flossing alone can’t take care of.

On top of that we’ll perform a thorough examination of your teeth, tongue, and gums so we catch any small issues before they become big, expensive problems. As Dr. Shanks always says, prevention is the best medicine!

Tips from Our Hygienists:

Brush your teeth really well twice a day and replace your toothbrush often (about every 3 months).

Floss or use an interdental cleaner at least once a day.

Eat a balanced diet that limits between-meal snacks.

Come see us every 3 to 6 months! 🙂
